In this recipe I am going to show you how to skillfully blend almonds, capers, tomatoes and basil to create a hell of a creamy sauce which will marry a generous portion of spaghetti.

Special Pasta Pesto
Equipment

Ingredients
- 400 gr spaghetti
- 70 gr capers
- 60 gr Pecorino cheese (or ricotta salata if you can get it)
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 70 gr almonds
- 1 lemon (zest)
- basil leaves
- salt and pepper
- olive oil extra virgin
Procedure
- Well... Kind of simple steps! Blend all the ingredients together with a mixer (or use a pestle&mortar if you're feeling adventurous)
- In a bowl, mix the pesto cream and the pasta. Add water from the pasta cooking if required;
- Serve immediately sprinkling some lemon zest and black pepper on top!
- ENJOY!
