Are you ready for a bomb of a dish? Today I’ll show you how to make a roasted pork belly, ‘porchetta-style’!
Make sure that you find a high quality piece of pork belly, the one with the right amount of tasty fat. We are going to season this beautiful cut of meat with some garlic, rosemary and salt… after a couple of hours in the oven, Heaven will hit us hard in the form of crispy pork belly!
I am also going to show how to prepare a quick stir fry with fresh vegetables that will pair nicely with our pork belly. Watch the videorecipe and get on the stove to cook this fantastic dish yourself!

Pork Belly - "Porchetta-style"!
Equipment
- Oven
- Knife
Ingredients
- 800 gr pork belly
- 1/4 cabbage
- 1 handful of mushrooms
- 3 carrots
- 1 leek
- a few cloves of garlic
- 1 chili
- salt and pepper
- rosemary
Procedure
- Insert some garlic and rosemary in the pork belly (make some cuts if necessary);
- Massage and add salt and pepper outside;
- Insert in oven for a couple of hours at 140C = 284F;
- Prepare the stirfry: cut the mushrooms, the carrots, the leek and the cabbage;
- Gently fry starting with carrots and mushrooms;
- Add the leek and the cabbage;
- Add the chili (a quarter or a half...)
- Stir until ready;
- When the pork belly is very crispy, it's time to eat;
- ENJOY!
