4-ingredients meatballs in tomato sauce (with mozzarella)

meatballs with mozzarella

I designed this recipe to give you the tastiest meatballs in tomato sauce (with mozzarella) ever!

This is not the classic meatballs recipe (you may want to check my other video here for that), but a special edition where I combine the typical meatballs in tomato sauce with some melting mozzarella.

What can beat such a tasty dish! I call this version a Meatballs alla Sorrentina, because of the usage of mozzarella right at the end of the cooking procedure, which is the best moment for the cheese to start melting and make the whole thing irresistible.

I also added a small potato to the minced meat mix this time, which allows the meatballs to stay more compact and also helps me in using less breadcrumbs. I only create these meatballs using 4 ingredients: the minced meat, 1 egg, some breadcrumbs and a small boiled potato. I am 100% sure you will love this version of meatballs in tomato sauce!
